The GET FIT Hendersonville Mission

GET FIT Hendersonville opened its doors in March of 2015 and back then I didn’t have a mission. They gym was my hobby, something I could do to help people in my spare time and maybe make a little extra cash on the side.

I was still working my job with the IRS and becoming more and more blah with it as the days went on. I enjoyed being in the gym. I enjoyed seeing people’s faces light up when they were successful.

The mission then became operation quit the IRS and work in the gym full time. It seemed like a pipe dream at first, but I started finding clients wherever I could. Referrals, lead purchase sites like thumbtack, etc. I thought social media was going to bring all the clients I needed and I wouldn’t have to hustle for them, I quickly learned I was wrong in that thought process. I was able to quit the IRS in November of 2015 with some hustle, networking, and great group of clients to start out with.

Here we are 5 years later and now I am developing a team to help me carry out our new and improved mission statement. Here it is:

At GET FIT Hendersonville our mission is to educate people in the community on the benefits of health and fitness. By providing them with accountability, structure, and a supportive community of their peers we will help them live a longer happier life.

GET FIT Hendersonville cares about the Sumner County community. Even after the owner moved to downtown Nashville, Murfreesboro, Nolensville, back to Nashville and even Ohio, GET FIT never left the place it originated.

GET FIT Hendersonville is here to serve as a positive reinforcement in this community and help as many residents as possible improve the pillars of health:

1. Nutrition

2. Exercise

3. Stress Management

4. Sleep

Improvement in these areas will lead to a longer life. A longer life means more time for you to spend with your family, more time to go on adventures, more time to hit a deadlift personal record, more time to run that 5k or marathon, more time to read, more time to learn new hobbies, and more time spend time with friends.

Ask 100 people nearing the end of life what they wish they had more of and I bet they say TIME.
